RSS Feeds

What is RSS?

An RSS feed is very similar to a newspaper subscription. It stands for "Rich Site Summary." Instead of the subscription showing up at your door every morning, it will be sent to your email inbox, or to your computers feed reader. RSS is a great way for you to not have to go through the hard work of checking a website for an update every single day. You can simply subscribe to a site's feed and the updates will automatically be sent to you. It truly is that simple.

What is a Feed Reader?

There are many different types of RSS readers available for free. Google has a great web-based feed reader that ties into your google account. Many email applications and browsers will also support RSS feeds. If you are not sure you have a feed reader on your computer, go ahead and click on the subscription you want listed at the top of this page, and your computer will let you know.
