Dear Jackina:
I write you not as an avid fan of your speeches, magazine articles or your books. I write you rather as a proud brother. Proud of a sister that has accomplished much but given the glory to Our Savior and Lord. I do not say often enough that I am proud of you and that I love you. Never doubt that I am proud and I do love you.

I so enjoyed your book “tender grace”. It was one of the best Christian books I’ve read. I will be recommending it to others at my church. Where will you be speaking in Illinois and when? Sincerely, Cathy Neubauer
I just finished reading Tender Grace. I am a widow myself and found that your book resonated with me. How did you come to know the heart/experience of a widow so intimately?
Hello! I wanted to let you know that I have a book cover contest happening on my blog. One of your books has been nominated to win. I thought that you might like to let your friends/readers know about it so that they could come vote for your cover. Here is the link to the post with all the nominated books: http://continuousdelights.blogspot.com/2009/12/cover-contest-time-to-vote.html
If you do let others know about the contest, please say that there is a poll on the right side of the blog, and that they shouldn’t “comment” their choice.
The contest will end January 3rd at 8 p.m. and the winner will be announced the next morning.
Blessings,
Carman
Dear Jackina:
I attended your writing workshop last year and purchased Tender Grace. I read the book as we drove home from the conference. As a young widow many, many years ago, and an English teacher, I identified with your character and story. I have shared the book with several friends. I am excited to see you have a new book out and am looking forward to reading it. I wish you continued success with your future endeavors.
