Just finished reading Tender Grace. What an amazing book. I can’t wait to read your other books. Please keep writing!
Jackina…so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Wanda & Cliff
Just got done reading Tender Grace. I loved it. I am a 49 year single never been married women and i must say that your book was a breathe of fresh air. God is my rock, best friend, provider, my all and i am so tired of most books being about a love story about a man and woman, when there is so much that can be written about the God/human love story. Your John insights hit home for me many times. Thank you
Hi Jackina,
Just came across some of your books I purchased after hearing you speak at a womens’ retreat on Deer Island, back in 1993. After googling your name I was pretty excited to find this website and plan to spend some time here! You actually made a huge impact on me, with your
speaking and books and I thank you for sharing so much of yourself
Hello,
I just finished your book Tender Grace last night. I learned so many things from it especially about the journey of mourning. Although I was in no position to take an actual trip as the woman did in your book I was able to feel similarities. My parents passed away two years and two days apart from one another. This was several years ago, yet I still find myself talking about them in the present tense now and then, and wanting to talk to them and dreaming aboout them quite a lot. I have tried to tell other people about it, including my siblings but they look at me like I am crazy. I just ordered your other book and I am really looking forward to reading it. I also ordered the CD by Selah and Thirteen Moons as well as Cold Mountain and Acts of Faith. Last but not least I looked up how to make an Italian Cream Cake. I had never heard of such a thing but my husband agrees it looks really yummy. Jackina, I wish you well and hope you write many more books. I see here that you also lost your Mom. May she visit you in your dreams as often as mine does. The real nice thing about it is she and I are always doing funny things in my dreams, and so instead of crying I laugh a lot. May you find laughter in your dreams as well. Thank you so much for your books, and I do hope that you write even more. Kristy
